Gas Station Cashier & Cook -
Job Description Position Overview:
We're looking for a reliable and energetic individual to join our team as a Cashier & Cook at our gas station convenience store. This dual-role position requires someone who can efficiently manage customer transactions while preparing fresh food items in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Cashier Duties:
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area Monitor inventory of front-end items and restock as needed
Cook Duties:
Prepare and cook food items such as breakfast sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and other grab-and-go meals Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Keep kitchen area clean and stocked Assist with menu updates and daily specials
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service or retail preferred Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Strong communication and customer service skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Work Environment:
Fast-paced, customer-facing setting Combination of standing at register and working in kitchen Team-oriented atmosphere with opportunities for growth
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$9.00 - $11.00 per hour
