Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure efficient kitchen operations Handle food with care, following all food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment Support food service operations by plating dishes, garnishing, and ensuring timely delivery to guests or dining areas Maintain proper food handling techniques during meal preparation and serving processes Collaborate with team members to coordinate catering events or special meal requests Keep the kitchen organized by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal requirements Strong culinary experience with excellent knife skills and proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling, and sanitation practices within the food industry Experience in restaurant or kitchen environments, including meal preparation, food service, and catering operations Ability to plan menus and execute meal prep efficiently under pressure Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members Prior experience in food industry roles such as culinary assistant or line cook is highly valued Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us where your skills will shine!
