Line Cook Halligan Bar and Grill - 4.6 Lexington, KY Job Details Part-time $16 - $18 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Kitchen health and safety standards Food service health code compliance Food safety sanitizing procedures Ability to follow instructions Full Job Description We are looking for a dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items, keeping the kitchen clean and organized, and helping ensure food is served quickly and consistently during busy shifts. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards Set up and maintain a clean, organized workstation Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Restock ingredients and supplies as needed Work efficiently during busy lunch, dinner, and late-night shifts Communicate and work well with other kitchen and bar staff Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties Wash dishes and help with general kitchen cleanup as needed Qualifications Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable and able to work well as part of a team Willingness to learn and follow instructions Ability to stand for extended periods and lift typical kitchen supplies Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required We are looking for someone who is reliable, works well under pressure, and takes pride in serving quality food in a fun, fast-paced bar environment.
