Duties Prepare and assemble a wide range of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, cold cuts, and specialty items, following established recipes and presentation standards Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area Assist with menu planning by suggesting new deli offerings and seasonal specials to keep our menu fresh and exciting Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and refrigeration units Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock supplies, rotating products appropriately, and communicating needs to management Provide excellent food service by serving customers promptly, accurately taking orders, and answering questions about menu items Experience Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Demonstrated culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and presentation Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, proper food handling techniques, and sanitation standards Skilled in meal preparation, cooking methods, knife skills, and food industry best practices Familiarity with dietary restrictions or special dietary needs to accommodate diverse customer requirements Proven ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy culinary setting

Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
