Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as a Cook. In this vital role, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our food service environment by preparing and serving nutritious meals, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Your culinary skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication will help deliver an exceptional dining experience for our clients. Responsibilities Assist with menu planning and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and recipes Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and food processors Prepare food items following established recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and service times Support catering events by preparing, serving, and cleaning up food stations as needed Experience Previous experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating strong food preparation skills Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Skilled in culinary techniques such as slicing, knife handling, and recipe adherence Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Background in meal preparation, catering, or food industry roles that involve food handling and serving Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff and other departments Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in a dynamic environment where safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are at the forefront.
