Responsibilities Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes, menu specifications, and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pots, and food production appliances safely and efficiently Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed meticulously to maintain food safety standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting new breakfast dishes and improving existing recipes Maintain high-volume food production while adhering to portion control and presentation guidelines Support dietary department needs by preparing special dietary meals and accommodating dietary restrictions Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized by following food safety sanitizing procedures at all times Skills Proven experience in food preparation, with a focus on breakfast or brunch menus Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation Experience operating kitchen equipment safely in a high-volume setting Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining consistency in food quality Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities, menu planning, and catering experience is a plus Excellent food handling skills combined with restaurant or food service experience in a fast-paced environment Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make mornings memorable!
