Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook and bring your passion for food to life! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing delicious dishes with precision and flair. Your culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish. Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and optimizing food presentation. Handle food safely by following proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times. Support food preparation activities including chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients for service. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts to uphold health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal timing and ensure smooth service flow during busy hours. Participate in catering events or special functions as needed, delivering high-quality meals in a timely manner. Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated culinary experience with proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques. Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking methods are essential. Familiarity with dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures is required. Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services will be advantageous. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen setting. $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
