Job Description :
The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items with precision and consistency.
Responsibilities:
Prepare food following TCE's standards and recipes while consistently maintaining high quality and great presentation. Prep food items and mise en place for the line using knowledge of expected demands. Be aware of and maintain freshness dates and temperature standards. Communicate with Executive Chef and Sous Chef on any out of stock or low stock items. Operate, maintain and properly clean all kitchen equipment and cooking tools, reporting to Chef or Sous Chef any safety hazards or damaged equipment. Properly cover, date and return any unused product to the corresponding storage areas. Maintain a safe work environment and follow all SOP and standards. Be mindful of and perform in such a way to help manage food cost/waste, reporting to the Chef or Sous Chef any issues. Clean up throughout shift and thoroughly at end of shift, assuring the line is left in a clean and operational manner for the following shift.
Qualifications:
