In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and dishes, supporting the kitchen's smooth operation, and ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise and grow within the food industry. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely and efficient service during busy hours Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines Support kitchen staff with food handling, portioning, and plating tasks Follow proper knife skills for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients safely and efficiently Help with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and prep needs Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory levels are maintained Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is highly desirable Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with catering, serving, and general kitchen operations within the food industry Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
