DiBlasi's Food & Drink is a brand-new neighborhood restaurant opening in downtown Reading, MA, and we're looking for experienced, dependable Line Cooks to join our opening kitchen team. This is a chance to get in at the beginning and help build the culture, systems, and kitchen of a new independent restaurant — not simply step into someone else's established operation. DiBlasi's is a neighborhood-focused restaurant with Italian roots serving fresh pasta, hand-stretched pizza, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, steaks, chicken, seafood and elevated comfort food. We care about making great food without making the kitchen overly complicated, and we're building a team of people who take pride in their work and enjoy working together. What we're looking for: Prior line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred Comfortable working sauté, grill, fry, pizza or multiple stations Strong sense of urgency while maintaining quality and consistency Reliable and ready to work as part of a small, hands-on kitchen team Ability to follow recipes, portion standards and food-safety procedures Willingness to help with prep, station setup, breakdown and cleaning Available for nights and weekends Someone who wants to help build something, not just punch a clock What we offer: $19-$24/hour depending on experience Full-time employment Opportunity for approximately 40 hours per week Employee meals during scheduled shifts Employee food discount Paid sick time in accordance with Massachusetts law Opportunity for advancement as the restaurant grows The chance to join a new restaurant from day one and have a real voice in how the kitchen operates One of the biggest advantages of joining an opening team is that there are no years of bad habits or established cliques to work around.
