Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish meets our standards of excellence. Your culinary skills will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances. Assist in the development of new menu items and specials. Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Adhere to fine dining presentation standards for all dishes served. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices. Experience Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings. Culinary training or relevant certifications in food handling are advantageous. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A team player with excellent communication skills who can work collaboratively in a busy kitchen environment.
