Who we are: A forward-thinking nonprofit senior living community located in Weston, MA. A Jesuit Community that is accepting of all religious beliefs but is grounded in providing high quality care and services. As an organization, Campion is full of ideas, collaborative and recognizes that everyone, including residents and employees, is a contributor. We have independent living, a 24-bed rest home and a 46-bed skilled nursing community. The community loves to enjoy delicious and healthy meals. We have a six-week menu cycle, so variety is important. We are a five-star community.
Who you are:
A cook who possesses excellent culinary skills and leads staff in maintaining high standards. You understand therapeutic diets and can adjust recipes to meet the needs of the community. Serve Safe Certification and ability to implement those standards are required. You have a calm demeanor and great interpersonal skills. Prior experience working with older adults in a senior living environment preferred. What you'll do: The Cook is responsible for performing assignments in accordance with established food handling methods using sanitary procedures. Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and service areas. Receives feedback and input from residents and staff to adjust recipes and menus to increase satisfaction. Participates with the dining culinary team to create delicious, flavorful, and healthy menus. You will also work in a very large, clean kitchen with lots of storage.
Pay & Benefits:
Medical, Dental,Vision, Life Insurance, a percentage match up on your contribution to 403 (b) retirement plan up to 6%, generous time off policy, tuition reimbursement of $5000.00 per year, $5.00 per hour weekend differential. This position is full time and does require working weekends.
