The vibe At Beth's, a sister company of ala Restaurants, we cook with fire, flavor, and purpose. Our food is unexpected bar snacks, hand helds, bright herbs, warm spices, char, citrus, and soul. Service moves fast, standards stay higher, and the kitchen runs like a team that actually likes winning. We're hiring a Line Cook who's sharp, consistent, and proud of the plate. If you can move with urgency, follow recipes to the gram, and keep your station clean under pressure—you'll fit right in. What you'll do  Work under the leadership of our Executive Chef + Sous Chefs to execute service at a high level  Set up and run your station with speed, organization, and accountability  Execute tapas-focused dishes with precision: grills/roasts, hot line, cold line, sauces, dips, and garnishes  Follow recipes exactly—measure, taste, adjust, and repeat with consistency  Prep smart and label everything: date, time, initials, storage (no mystery containers here)  Maintain clean, safe work habits: food handling, temps, sanitation, storage  Communicate clearly with the team—call backs, counts, 86's, and timing  Support breakdown, cleaning, and restock so the next shift isn't walking into chaos What we're looking for  1-2 years experience in a professional kitchen (high-volume is a plus)  Strong listener who can follow direction and execute quickly  Comfortable reading and understanding recipes in English  Solid communication skills—clear, calm, and team-focused  Basic math skills for scaling recipes, portioning, and prep counts  Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain per local/state regulations)  Bonus points if you have experience with: shawarma-style proteins, kebab/grill work, mezze production, pickles, spice blends, sauces, and flatbread support Working conditions (real kitchen talk)  You'll be on your feet for the full shift  You'll work around hot grills, cold storage, sharp tools, and fast-moving people  Manual dexterity required: chopping, slicing, portioning, plating  Lift/move kitchen products and supplies as needed Education / Experience  High school diploma or equivalent preferred  Culinary degree is a plus—not required if your skills show up every shift  1-2 years food service/hospitality experience required If you're the kind of cook who…  shows up on time, knives sharp  keeps your station tight  cares about flavor and consistency  and can take coaching without taking it personally… …we want you in our kitchen.
