The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality food in accordance with VIVÂMEE Hospitality standards. This role is essential to delivering exceptional culinary experiences across restaurant service, weddings, and events at Bohemia Manor Farm. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food quality. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Execution Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards set by the Chef Execute food production for restaurant service, banquets, and events Assist in the preparation of specials and seasonal menu items Ensure timely and accurate plating during service periods Kitchen Operations & Organization Set up and stock workstations to ensure efficient service Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, reach-ins, and prep areas Follow proper food rotation and storage procedures in walk-in refrigeration and dry storage Assist with general prep work and support all kitchen stations as needed Quality & Food Safety Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner in compliance with health regulations Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tools, and kitchen environment Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and food safety guidelines Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless guest experience Communicate effectively with chefs and team members during service Maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment Continuous Improvement Provide input on menu items, specials, and kitchen efficiencies Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the culinary team Support overall kitchen success through flexibility and teamwork Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant or hospitality kitchen Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food preparation Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Compensation & Benefits At VIVÂMEE Hospitality, we believe our teammates are our greatest investment.
