In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the dietary department by assisting with meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring high standards of food safety. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to providing nutritious, appealing meals in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise while making a positive impact on the well-being of our clients and residents.
WEEKENDS PART TIME OR FULL TIME AVAILABLE
Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines Support the dietary team with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Serve meals to residents or guests in a courteous and timely manner Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards Help with catering events and special meal services as needed Follow all food industry regulations and safety protocols to ensure quality control Qualifications Previous experience in dietary or food service departments preferred Strong culinary skills, including knife skills and cooking techniques Experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is advantageous Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Basic understanding of menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
