Line Cook

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing meals according to our menu specifications while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Assist with menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines, including proper food handling techniques. Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with food preparation and service. Support dietary aides in preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements when necessary. Skills Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff. Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is a plus. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to grow within the food industry.
