Whether you're slicing, dicing, cooking, or cleaning, your skills will contribute to a vibrant kitchen environment focused on excellence and teamwork. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to standardized recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, stoves, and food processors Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, portioning, and plating to ensure timely meal service Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning work stations, utensils, and equipment regularly Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and temperature control of all ingredients Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal assembly and ensure smooth kitchen operations Support catering functions and special event meal preparations as needed Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or dietary departments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key Strong knife skills with proper slicing techniques for efficient food prep Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members in a fast-paced setting Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently A proactive attitude towards cleaning duties and maintaining a hygienic workspace Previous dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
