Description Maine Medical Center Service/Maintenance Support Req #: 69139 ($5,000.00 Sign on Bonus paid in 3 installments, prorated for Part Time) Current MaineHealth employees not eligible for the sign on bonus. Must be separated from MaineHealth system for 6 months to be eligible. Summary The Cook role is responsible for preparation of foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees. Assures the facility's cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

License/Certifications:

Food safety certification required (e.g., ServSafe) and must be obtained within 3 months of hire.

Experience:

One year of relevant food production experience required. One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred.
