Ensure high-volume production meets quality standards while maintaining consistency across all meals served. Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and control waste to maximize operational efficiency. Collaborate with dietary department staff to accommodate special dietary needs and meal plans effectively. Skills Extensive dietary aide experience combined with strong menu planning capabilities. Proven culinary experience in restaurant or food industry settings with a focus on food safety management. Expertise in various cooking methods including poaching, braising, grilling, and fine dining techniques. Skilled in operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Exceptional knife skills and proficiency in food handling for high-volume production environments. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and adherence to strict hygiene standards. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining recipe adherence and quality control standards.
