Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this vital role, you will craft delicious pizza's, cold and hot subs, home cooked meals etc. while ensuring safety standards and food handling protocols that are followed. Your expertise and customer service skills will contribute to creating a welcoming environment that delights every customer. Must be willing to cross train as a cashier. Works well with others. And can handle a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of meals. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools. Follow strict food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination.
SKILLS:
Maintain accurate records of food inventory, storage conditions, and cleaning schedules to ensure compliance with safety standards. experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production. Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production smoothly. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Join us as a Cook in our small, busy community! Pay:
$15.10 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
