Job Description
Who we are: Alden Camps is a 115-year-old family vacation resort that has been bringing smiles to guests for generations. Our informal, relaxed, and rustic cottages with screened porches are located on the shore of East Pond, one of the Belgrade Lakes. Our natural sand beach is great for swimming and sunbathing. Boats and motors are available for rent. Families come for a week or multiples thereof and most return year after year. Our American Plan resort is noted for delicious meals with multiple choices and exceptional hospitality. The resort is open from mid-May through early September. The house count varies throughout our season. Low season will start with just a handful of guests, with busier weekends. Our busier season begins in July and averages 60 guests, and we accept a few outside dinner reservations on limited days. If you are looking for a unique and rewarding culinary opportunity, we invite you to join our team as a breakfast cook/baker. As breakfast cook/baker you will be responsible for preparing and executing morning meals. You will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary talents by creating delicious and nutritious meals using fresh and seasonal ingredients. You will be responsible for preparing food items and maintaining health and safety standards. Experience in fast paced line cooking is preferred but we are willing to train. We are looking for a creative and innovative cook who is passionate about cooking and is able to think outside the box. We offer competitive pay, and a cooperative, collaborating working environment.
