Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards Assist with food prep tasks such as slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Follow all safety procedures during food handling, cooking, and cleaning processes to prevent accidents or contamination Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking techniques Familiarity with food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Skilled in using various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff Demonstrated ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal presentation Experience in catering or serving is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
