Duties Prepare and assemble meals with precision, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and dietary guidelines Assist in menu planning by providing input on meal options, ingredient selection, and presentation techniques Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen Cook a variety of dishes, utilizing fine dining techniques and knife skills to enhance presentation and flavor Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely service Serve meals to guests or residents with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent food service standards Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Qualifications Previous dietary department experience or dietary aide experience is highly preferred Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a food industry or restaurant setting Knowledge of menu planning, food safety regulations, and proper food handling practices Experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus Proficiency in knife skills, food presentation, and meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join us as a cook and bring your culinary talents to life!
