This role is responsible for preparing high-quality breakfast dishes in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in cooking from scratch, maintaining consistency, and keeping a clean and organized workstation. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook breakfast items including pancakes, eggs, bacon, omelets, waffles, and specialty dishes Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen workspace Manage grill and stovetop stations during busy morning service hours Ensure food is prepared and plated in a timely manner Restock ingredients and prep items for smooth service flow Follow all food safety and health regulations Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff during orders Schedule Morning shifts (We close at 2pm during the week, and 3pm on the weekends.) Weekend availability required Full-time or part-time positions available Qualifications Prior experience as a breakfast cook, line cook, or short-order cook preferred Ability to work early morning shifts consistently Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs What We Offer Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Employee meals during shifts Supportive team environment How to Apply Apply in person at Nick's House of Pancakes or submit your resume with relevant experience.
