Prep Cook/Line Cook

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of various menu items
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
• Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry is preferred
• Knowledge of basic knife skills and culinary techniques
• Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from the head chef or kitchen manager
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special meal preparation is a plus As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in assisting the kitchen staff in the preparation of meals.
