We are looking for a part time cook.
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for creating high-quality meals for our residents, ensuring that all food is made to comply with established health and safety food regulations. This role involves attention to detail in meal preparation to maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation, nutrition and safety. Job duties encompass a range of responsibilities including cooking, baking, labeling and dating, temp checks, putting away stock, as well as cleaning equipment, sweeping/ mopping behind the line and maintaining a clean work space.
Qualifications:
Culinary degree or certification (preferred but not required with equivalent experience) Requirement of a minimum of 2 years of proven cooking experience Independent or assisted living culinary experience preferred No late nights our cooks are always out by 6:00 pm
