Job Description
The Atheneum is in search of a cook who has high culinary standards and values attention to detail in every dish. Working with a dedicated team of experts, you will learn something different every day as you work with new seasonal menus and unique presentations. You hard work pays off when a dish that you've thoughtfully helped to prepare has guests raving and wanting to return. What we're looking for Great teamwork skills and attention to detail Positive outlook and outgoing personality Previous kitchen cooking experience necessary (2 Years min.) Experience in a wide range of cooking techniques Ability to follow direction, and meet standards Job Duties include: Memorizing recipes, policies, and procedures Preparing ingredients and components of each recipe Maintaining freshness of product and rotating old product out Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times to avoid contamination Being aware of and following all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines Evening shifts Starting Pay Negotiable based on experience Access to health and dental insurances, 401
