Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and energetic Expo/Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you'll be the vital link between the kitchen and front-of-house, ensuring that food is prepared, plated, and delivered with precision and speed. Your enthusiasm for food, strong organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations. Expedite orders by coordinating between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of food. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Support the team during busy service periods by bussing tables, resetting stations, and managing food flow efficiently. Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding order modifications, special requests, or dietary restrictions. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues promptly. Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing friendly service and responding professionally to guest inquiries. Skills Prior experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members. Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures. Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and transaction processing is a plus. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks during peak hours. Experience in banquet service, culinary arts, or hotel food operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
