We will contact you if we are interested. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Experience in fine dining or catering is a plus, as we strive to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management Participate in catering events as required, providing excellent service to guests Requirements Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Line Cook or Prep Cook Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Familiarity with dietary department practices and dietary aide responsibilities is advantageous Excellent knife skills and ability to handle various kitchen equipment safely Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is preferred Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen environment Join our team and contribute your culinary expertise while growing your skills in a dynamic kitchen atmosphere!
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
