Line Cook/Prep Cook To be a line cook, at least two years of experience in a similar restaurant or establishment is preferred, with the ability to go up and down stairs quickly while carrying at least 30Lbs. Line cooks must be able to communicate in both written and verbal English to be effective in their position. They must be able to follow recipes, cook and identify products correctly, in a timely manner and in a sanitary fashion. We expect cooks to be able to stand on their feet for at least 8 hours at a time and work in a hot, loud and fast paced environment. Basic problem solving skills are important as is a positive attitude and a love for food. Basic knife skills and a general knowledge of food sanitation are important. Line cooks must have the ability to smell and taste food on a regular basis.
Hours:
This business requires that this position be available to work nights, weekends, holidays and occasional long hours.
