Job Description
Lead Cook/Prep Cook Red Ryder
- 1.
- Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items
- Assumes 100% responsibility for the quality of products served
- Know portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules
- Stocks and maintains levels of food products online
- Portion food products prior to cooking according to portion sizes and recipe
- Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area
- Follows proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes
- Store and rotate all products properly
- Closing the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist you are given
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager Skills
- Experience working in a restaurant kitchen environment
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
