Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and improvements based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients. Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Execute food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently. Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining presentation standards. Maintain proper food handling procedures during all stages of meal preparation to ensure freshness and safety. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations, including serving dishes promptly to guests. Skills Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is highly desirable. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen experience within the food industry. Excellent knife skills with the ability to prepare ingredients quickly and accurately. Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations. Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Experience in catering or large-scale food production is a plus.
