Duties Prepare ingredients and components according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist with menu planning by preparing daily specials and ensuring ingredient availability Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, slicers, ovens, and mixers, adhering to food safety protocols Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to meet health and safety standards Support the kitchen team during meal preparation and food service, ensuring timely delivery of orders Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety management Collaborate with kitchen staff through clear communication to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven food service experience in restaurant or catering environments demonstrating knowledge of food industry standards Skilled in culinary techniques such as knife skills, slicing methods, and recipe adherence Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Experience with meal preparation, food safety standards, and catering processes is a plus Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and food handling practices Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen setting Join us to be part of a vibrant culinary team where your skills will shine!
