Compensation:
Up to $14.00 per hour based on experience My Stop Convenience Stores along the I-75 corridor in Michigan has immediate openings for both Full and Part-Time Cooks to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual who possesses great customer service to join our team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality food service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, with experience in various food service environments. As a Cook for My Stop Convenience, you will be: Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food handling processes Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of food items to minimize waste and maintain quality Uphold cleanliness in the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations at all times. Assist in store stocking and various other duties within the store We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food industry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Outgoing personality who gets along with customers. Must be 18 years of age or older Must be able to prove you are eligible to work in the United States High school diploma or GED. Reliable method of transportation. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Reliable, professional and trustworthy.
