Job Description
Lourdes Senior Community is located on Watkins Lake Rd in Waterford, Michigan. Since 1965, Lourdes has ministered to seniors and their families. Established by the Dominican Sisters, the Order has followed their ministry to care for the sick and elderly for over 50 years. Faithfully, they have carried out their vision to provide healing, comfort, and compassion to those who need it most.
Position Summary:
The Cook is responsible for the preparation and service of food to the residents in an efficient, safe and sanitary manner at our Fox Manor Independent Living Home.Current opening:
We currently have one part time opening, 18-24 hours per week Weekdays 10:30 - 7:00. Every other weekend 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Holidays are on rotation.Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for meals, and serving those meals. Follows the Cooks Prep List as well as checking the menu for needs for the next day's meal. Supervises the kitchen when the manager is not available. Ordering and stock experience. Must be ServeSafe certified. Senior living experience preferred.Pay:
