In this role, you'll be the face of the truck, taking orders, assembling our signature loaded potatoes and elotes, and keeping the line moving during busy lunch rushes and events. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves interacting with people, and takes pride in serving great local food.
Responsibilities Customer Service:
Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, answer questions about the menu, and ensure every customer leaves happy.
Food Prep & Assembly:
Efficiently prep ingredients and assemble hot food items to order while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
Transactions:
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process cash and credit transactions, and handle change accurately.
Maintenance:
Keep the food truck spotless. Sanitize prep surfaces, clean equipment, and actively restock supplies and ingredients throughout the shift.
Teamwork:
Communicate clearly with the rest of the crew to ensure orders go out fast and accurate.
Skills & Requirements Experience:
Previous experience in food service, quick-service restaurants, or retail is preferred, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are most important.
Hustle:
Ability to stand for extended periods, work efficiently in a compact space, and keep a cool head during high-volume rushes.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable using modern, tablet-based POS systems for order processing.
Safety First:
Strong understanding of food safety, proper handling, and sanitation standards.
Reliability:
Punctual, dependable, and ready to work.
Pay & Perks Competitive Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour, plus daily tips.
