In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients, assisting in meal assembly, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your energy and culinary skills will contribute directly to delivering memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare ingredients and components according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist with meal preparation, including slicing, dicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients with precision using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and food processors Follow food safety management protocols to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination during food handling and preparation Support the culinary team in executing menu planning by preparing ingredients for daily service and catering events Maintain a clean workstation by adhering to cleaning schedules, sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely delivery of orders Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating knowledge of food preparation and safety standards Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus, especially in settings requiring special dietary accommodations Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques within the food industry Strong understanding of kitchen safety standards in production environments Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Proven ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail during busy service times Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams We are committed to fostering a positive work environment where your culinary talents can flourish.
