Are you ready to be part of a team that ensures every detail is taken care of to create an exceptional dining experience? Are you interested in serving our seniors and positively impacting their lives? Creative Dining is seeking experienced Part Time Cooks to join us at Royal Park Place Atrium in Zeeland, MI.Looking to fill two positions.
Schedules for each shift/position are:
5:45am to 2:30pm, varying days including alternating weekends or10am to 6:30pm, varying days including alternating weekends.

Weekend availability is required. Drug Screen, fingerprinting and background check are required at this location. Core Responsibilities:
Time food production such that all food is ready at the time of servicePrepare food items according to established recipes and menus in a manner in which preserves food freshness, quality and appealUtilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under productionUtilize safe food handling techniques at all timesMaintain a clean and sanitized work areaFollow established work rules and regulations; ready for work in the kitchen, in uniform, at the scheduled timeIf work shift requires, properly open and/or close the kitchen unlocking/locking doors & secured areas, and turning on/turning off of all equipment essential to the operationMaintain a safe, tidy and well-organized work environment at all times; clean up spills quickly, wear protective gear as needed (ie: slicer glove), and store wares safelyCommunicate needs and concerns regarding food production and kitchen operation to supervisor appropriately, and in a timely mannerSupport other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriatelyBe proactive in communication; monitor communication posting areas closelyRemoval of refuse as neededPutting away/Pulling stock as needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Minimum of 2 years cooking experienceHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred but not requiredServSafe Certification preferredAbility to cook "from scratch" recipes, make soups, cook various proteins and vegetables. Cook to order for substitutions.
