Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and serving of meals to Care Center Residents, Hospital and SLS. Know basics of therapeutic diets to ensure proper following of nutrition care plan for resident and patients. Washing dishes with dish machine, using meat slicer, coffee machine, steamer, grill, ovens and handling dishes, hot and cold food. Follow standardized quantity food recipes Ensure meal times are followed while working closely with aids, nurses and Dietitian. Brainstorm ideas for possible solutions to problems pertaining to food service that may arise. Abide to the Minnesota Department of Health safety standards and LakeWood's Policies. Stocking food items, documentation of food records, grocery items and temperatures. Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Must be at least 16 years of age Ability to multi-task and prioritize Must be able to closely interpret and follow Dietary Department policies and procedures
