Job Description
We are currently looking for 1-2 individuals who are looking to gain experience working in a higher-end French Restaurant as a line cook. These individuals would be expected to work from 4pm until close each night on our Garde Manger Station which is responsible for plating salads, cheese plates, shucking oysters, and plating desserts. It is not a station that requires any "Cooking" however there would be some light prep and a lot of plating and organizing required. On slower nights when we don't staff a dishwasher, this person is required (as is everyone) to help out on dishes. After fully trained on this station, the next step would be to get trained on our wood stone oven station, which is responsible for cooking many of our proteins including fish, steak, burgers, etc. Applicants must be available a minimum of 2 shifts per week (4pm-10pm each shift, 12 hours total), with maximum of 5 shifts per week (30 hours total). Some Restaurant experience is preferred.
