Duties Prepare and assemble meals according to established menus, ensuring portion control and presentation standards are met Assist in menu planning by suggesting nutritious and appealing meal options that cater to dietary needs Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, cooking, and plating with precision and attention to safety protocols Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines Serve meals to residents or guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring a positive dining experience Support catering events by preparing food items, setting up serving stations, and managing food distribution Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a restaurant or food industry setting Knowledge of menu planning, food safety practices, and proper food handling techniques Skilled in culinary tasks such as knife skills, food presentation, and meal preparation Experience with catering services or large-scale food service operations is advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physically demanding tasks as required Join us in making a meaningful difference through nourishing meals and exceptional service!
