Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled properly. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools. Support the team and be creative in cooking child- fun recipes to complement weekly themes at times. Requirements Follow CACFP Guidlelines Previous experience as a cook or in food service is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. A passion and commitment to quality meal preparation. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
