Skylight Gardens is an assisted living facility seeking a Cook Manager to manage our kitchen operations. Benefits of a

The Cook/Manager is also responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen, serving meals, washing dishes, clearing tables and assisting where needed in the kitchen.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops and maintains menus based on healthy standards and resident preferences Orders food and supplies regularly ensuring expenses are within the established budget Provides training and staff supervision to dietary staff Ensures that the kitchen area is maintained according to state and local sanitary standards. Supervises and assists with food preparation. Manages the kitchen staff schedule
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Certified Food Manager's Certificate High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years food management experience including supervisory experience. Working knowledge of state and local food preparation and sanitation regulations. Working knowledge of MS Windows, Word and Excel Good oral and written communication skills.
