JOB SUMMARY

• Serve the Residents meals
• Set and clear tables
• Take food temps and fridge/freezer temps
• Wash dishes, put dishes away
• General cleaning
• Make coffee, pour water, milk, and juices
• Answer call lights when needed
• Sweep floors
• Take out garbages

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENT

• Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, walk, and stand throughout the day
• May occasionally lift or move items of up to 50 lbs
• May be exposed to hot/cold temperatures in the kitchen/storage areas
• Noise level may be above normal in the work environment
• Subject to falls, cuts, and burns from equipment and hot foods, infectious disease, odors, ect throughout the work day
• Subject to frequent interruptions
• Must be able to taste, smell, and hear
• Ability to meet and deal tactfully and courteously with fellow employees, residents, and families

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Must have cooking experience other than at home.
