Job Description

As a Cook, you will prepare meals for patients, their families and our team of doctors, nurses, operational professionals, and guests in the cafeteria. You will be responsible for leading and directing other staff during some shifts.
Work Schedule:
1.0 FTE, 40 hours weekly, 5:30am-2pm weekdays plus every 3rd weekend.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year cooking experience in hospital or nursing home, banquet or restaurant setting or equivalent experience Knowledge of modified recipes for special diets Ability to read, write and follow oral instructions Basic cooking skills Ability to be on feet 8 hours per day Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Teamwork ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent, prior equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of diploma Knowledge of modified recipes for special diets Highly organized with a sense of urgency
