Line Cook

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and culinary arts, with experience in catering and restaurant environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and food preparation for daily specials and catered events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for food, creativity in menu planning, and a desire to help others succeed in the kitchen.
