Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations, with a focus on delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and presented attractively
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workspaces
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Adapt to special dietary requests and menu changes
- Monitor food stock and minimize waste
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus
