In this role, you will assist with food preparation, maintain sanitation standards, operate POS systems, and ensure efficient service to keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm. Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction through friendly recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Manage time effectively to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
