Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team for both AM and PM shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing dishes and ingredients in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
Skills:
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food handling procedures
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous work in the food service industry is beneficial
