Job Description

Assistant Cook:
Assist the Head Cook in various aspects of kitchen operation, including storage, preparation, and service of food. Assist in maintaining sanitation of the general kitchen area. Responsible for correct portioning of food items. Ensure that items packaged for home meal delivery are maintained at appropriate temperature and are served in correct portions. Assists in maintaining the daily perpetual inventory system. Pre-prepares menu items as appropriate for upcoming menus. Responsible for ensuring at all times that standards of quality are met. Must abide by all rules and regulations regarding foodservice safety and sanitation as well as all federal, state and local regulations and health codes . Promote the Care Connection mission statement to provide resources and services that empower people to create healthy aging experiences.
Custodian:
Responsible for routing cleaning of all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, windows, and furnishings. Responsible for requisitioning supplies and equipment necessary to complete tasks in a safe, sanitary and workmanlike manner. Maintains adequate supplies of disposable paper products to meet daily needs of the facility. Ensures that appropriate standards of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained to meet or exceed all applicable health regulations. 1 Year food service experience preferred Must have reliable transportation, vehicle insurance, and valid driver's license
